At the [Coit] Tower he painted a scene of sports activities, featureing an enlarged "Persian miniature" of polo players on horseback. He was an artist in many genres — a painter of portraits and miniatures, a sculptor, a block printer, a gereral designer, a draftsman, a lithographer, an etcher, and a good teacher.
