biografische angaben: Born 1970. She was educated at the School of the Art Institute, where she earned her degree in photography in 1991. That year she spent a month in Africa studying art techniques from the Baule and Senufo villages on West Africa's Ivory Coast through Parsons School of Design. She has worked in collaboration with community artists, architects, schools, and others to organize and produce public art projects. She has developed arts-in-education programs, conducted workshops and residencies, and organized special projects with the Chicago Public Schools. She joined the Chicago Public Art Group in 1990. She has created murals using fresco and other mediums and worked as a photographer and researcher for the Du Sable and Field Museums.
